Well! Those of you who are reading it well know how life has been lately for me. But, I would like to drip few words of my recent life, if you may. To those who already know what I am writing, it might be fun, those who don't will find out how life turns.
So, I reached Budapest, beautiful Old City mostly built by King Steven, who is considered the founder king of Hungary, about 100 years after the Hungarian arrived here as nomads from Asia near the Urals. The day was, 25th of Feb, 09.
It is simply a really beautiful place and life here is just as it would be in a country with high aspirations but effected by world economic recession. But, things here are much friendlier than I expected them to be. Not that I am saying that they are perfect people to be with, but are for sure helpful despite being a little introvert than normal Americans or Nepalese. But, that is not the point. It is finally good to be here and continue persuing dreams with symbols and numbers and life and culture and thoughts and a lot more.
I have been taking a lot of mathematics classes. Well, not a lot, but enough for me to be a hunchback carrying heavy books to the college. All math classes are related to each other and a while ago I just realized how they were related to life and our feelings and relationship with people around and whom we love. It is just fun. Besides, I am taking philosophy of new and old world politcs and Hungarian. I go to the College International Building in Bethlan Gabor ter to take my classes.
It is easier to understand and pronounce Hungarian since it a phonetic language and also because I live in a family whose owner, my host mom, Erica (which means flower), is our Hungarian language professor. Her husband, my host dad Andras is a professor of Film and business in a christian university. So, it from whom I get the crash course of Hungarian language, culture and history.
I have not been going out much to the wilderness and beauty of the small countryside where I live in the west of Danube, Buda because of studies, but am planning on getting my self up to some wonderful terrain around once I get back to the normal schedule. However, my host family is really kind to take me to places they think would be interesting to me. I enjoy being around them and talk about their life experiences and culture.
But, the thing is we are all busy so we just meet up during eating, well it is some really good food. Besides, either I am in the college mugging myself up with some useful mathematics and philosophy, or in home alone looking around and trying to learn more. Well, to be frank, I enjoy being in the slopes of cool valley as they call it here.
Hope things are going well with all of you whereever you are. I miss you all and love you!
Smiles,
Prasoon.
